On my first trip to Venice, I never knew that going around the different islands nearby would be such a treat! I finally learned how Murano glass is made, how beautiful Burano Island is and how the Roman empire made its way to Torcello.
Going on a tour was probably the best idea to go around the different islands because not only was it cheap, it offered the best and most practical way of transportation around the Grand Canal. You can purchase your tickets online (we purchased ours via Viator), or you can book a tour right on the spot. AliLaguna was the tour operator and they were very helpful throughout the entire trip. If you want to spend more time on these islands, you can buy vaporetto tickets to your chosen destination.
MURANO
This is the glassblowing factory where they make the popular Murano glass.
BURANO
I love this place! The different colors of the facades of the buildings make for a good Instagram photo. I have to say, this is one of my favorite places in Venice! Aside from it being very colorful, the place is lively with a lot of people going around. You also get to see how life is like living in the sides of the Grand canal.
TORCELLO
I highly recommend going on an island hopping adventure in Venice! It's one of the must dos in this place!
Regarding all aspects the blog was perfectly nice. Cheap Travel
